EARLY LITERACY KIT
The New York Public Library’s free early literacy kit helps parents and caregivers foster the essential language skills needed for later success. The kit includes an original, bilingual board book featuring custom illustrations of “Little Lion” on a rhyming adventure through New York City.
The kit also includes a tote bag, reading tips, and a fold-out growth chart highlighting the five early literacy practices parents should do daily with their children—read, talk, sing, write, play.
